This event was an especially emotional and poignant one. Not only was the event a celebration of her Bat Mitzvah, it was also somewhat of a farewell as she was saying goodbye to her school friends as she moves on to a school to focus on her dancing career. She even performed at the party and it was amazing. I also had a personal connection with many of the children there because my son attended school with many of them from kindergarten to sixth grade. Seeing how everyone has grown and matured was breathtaking. From the ceremony to the party laughter, tears and hugs filled the room. A beautiful day for a beautiful girl and family.
